It is strongly recommended that all application materials be completed by using the free Adobe Reader (version 7.0 or higher). You may not be able to properly complete the application materials with other PDF programs. Your application materials will be processed more quickly if submitted in this manner, but hand-written or scanned copies of these documents are acceptable only if you cannot complete these forms electronically. When completed, please submit the following seven (7) documents by e-mail before the deadline. Please only submit the documents listed below in order to expedite the processing of your application.

Required Materials
Completed Application Form: If you do not have the application form, you can download it HERE.
Completed Essays: There are three short essays contained within the Application Form that explore you and your interests.
Letter of Recommendation from Your Home Organization*: This is a very important part of the application process which demonstrates your organization's interest in having you participate in the program.
Letter of Recommendation from a Past Employer, Professor, etc*: This is the second letter of recommendation, which can be submitted from another individual of your choice.
*For both Letters of Recommendation, you can use the same form provided to you by IA.

Optional Materials
The following materials are strongly recommended to be submitted to us at the time of your application. If you do not have these materials, it's okay...really! The more information you can give us about you and your experiences can be of great benefit during the application process, but we understand if you simply don't have them.
Copy of the Photo Page of Your Passport: If you currently have a passport, please send a scanned page of the photo page.
Copies of Grade Transcripts for Undergraduate/Graduate Courses
Official English Language Test Scores: If you have taken an IELTS or TOEFL test within the past two years, please submit a copy of your official test scores
